Personal, but here is my take that Dissolution stands the best chance to be made into a film:
It’s by Nicholas Binge (publishing March 25, 2025).
Here’s why it has good potential for film adaptation:
• The premise is cinematic: the protagonist Maggie Webb discovers that her husband’s memory loss is part of a massive, hidden power structure, which lends itself to a high-concept thriller with big visuals and mystery.
• It taps into popular themes: memory, identity, reality-hack — all elements that translate well into visual storytelling, especially in the sci-fi/thriller genre.
• It’s fresh for 2025: being a new release this year means rights may still be negotiable and the book is still riding buzz, which is appealing for studios looking for timely material.
