Q:

The Ripple Effect

By Cally Jackson

Caitlyn Richter wakes up on her 21st birthday to strange symptoms—pins and needles, rushing noise in her ears, and a blinding light. Then she finds herself somewhere else, transported in time with no warning.

She soon realizes she’s inherited a disorder that makes her time-travel uncontrollably and that even the smallest change in the past can ripple into massive consequences in the present. Complicating everything, she meets Toby Beech, a charming carpenter from the 1980s, and feels an undeniable pull toward him. Caitlyn must decide: play it safe and protect her present, or follow her heart and risk everything for love.

The time travel novel is a tad light but an entertaining read for a summer weekend
