The NeverEnding Story II: The Next Chapter (1990)

While not as beloved as the first, the sequel deepens the lore of Fantasia and gives Bastian’s journey a darker, more introspective edge. The theme — that imagination requires courage — still lands. Slightly campy, deeply nostalgic, and full of childlike sincerity that modern fantasy rarely attempts.
