Q:

Skyward – Brandon Sanderson

Imagine Top Gun in space—but the jets talk back and your co-pilot is probably a sentient AI with attitude. Skyward is pure, high-octane joy. Spensa, the teenage pilot at the center of it all, wants to prove herself in a world that treats her like an outcast, and she does it with grit, sarcasm, and some serious aerial acrobatics.

Sanderson nails the “underdog vs. universe” vibe. It’s hopeful, funny, and full of dogfights that make you hum your own theme music.

If adrenaline had wings and sass, it would look like this book.
