No. 6 – Atsuko Asano (ANIME)

This one caught me off guard. You think it’s a regular dystopian YA setup, but then it turns into something deeper — friendship, rebellion, identity, and love all tangled together under a perfect sterile dome. It’s poetic and human in a way most sci-fi forgets.

I came for the worldbuilding, stayed for the heartbreak.
