Founded by a young teen with a lifelong love for space, fantasy, and a good book, Crestreader was born from a simple dream: to create a dedicated home for Sci-Fi and Fantasy readers. Tired of cluttered forums and scattered discussions, we set out to build a place that you could leave having found your next book or movie. Along the way, our goal became bigger: to create a community where imagination thrives, thoughtful voices are heard, and everyone feels safe sharing their passion for stories.
At Crestreader, we believe tokenization and gamification belongs in any online communities. And so, members earn credits for thoughtful reviews and contributions, which can be used to boost posts, unlock badges, and join in site governance. In the near future, these credits will evolve into a dedicated crypto coin — because crypto, science fiction, and fantasy naturally belong together. Plans are also underway for an online merch store, where tokens can be redeemed for exclusive items and collectibles.
