Explorers (1985)

Three kids build a homemade spaceship from scrap and head for the stars — only to discover alien life isn’t what they expected. Explorers captures the imaginative optimism of 80s sci-fi at its purest. It’s part E.T., part daydream, full of wonder and curiosity. The ending feels rushed, but the heart? Timeless.
