Seventh Son (2014)

A farm boy becomes the apprentice to a monster-hunting “spook” tasked with defeating an ancient witch. It’s pulpy, fast-moving fantasy fun filled with dragons, spirits, and swordplay. Jeff Bridges gives a gloriously weird performance that elevates the adventure. It’s not high art, but it’s high energy — and that’s half the fun. A great pick for teens who like their fantasy loud and lore-heavy.
