The Maze Runner (2014)
A group of teens wakes up in a deadly maze with no memory of who they are or why they’re there. Each wall shift raises new questions and threats, but also deeper mysteries about control and survival. The film nails the mix of tension and teamwork, creating a claustrophobic sense of dread that still feels hopeful. Dylan O’Brien carries the story with understated emotion, making this more than just another dystopian run. It’s a gritty, fast-paced allegory about youth rebellion and identity.
